No hidding. Speed depends on the copper line quality which is provided by Bell , and the configuration in the Bell central office. The max possible speed is 5MB. One word, everything is the same as sympatico/Bell, the only difference is Acanac is a 3rd party retailer.

If you change plan in Rogers, be careful.

I changed my plan (from Highspeed to High speed Lite) on July 13. They charged me both plan for the period from July 13 to July 31. I asked them, they said that is the policy.

I threatened to cancel, they reimbursed me. But I really don't like this kind of cheating.

Rogers is garbage.

I did the same as you did. I was charged extra $20. I was told that I broke the agreement. I told them I didn't sign any agreenment with Rogers. They said I did. I asked the copy. They didn't have, but didn't refund my money.
So I stopped pay all money from then for three months. Finally, they refund me the $20.
