读医的条件是什么？

现在在读生物专业，B.S.,本来打算以后master 或者PhD读医。可是后来听人说，读医必须进医学院，而且不收international students。

但是，当我在查一些相关信息后，只看见说如果要进medical school, 要考MCAT；安省的OUAC又只介绍了如何申请undergraduate的medical school，不过写着international students也可以申请。

有没有人知道，
1，读医是不是一定要上medical school里读master/PhD？
2，medical school的申请条件一般是什么？

知道的话，希望把网址放一下，我想自己以后可以看一看。
看专业前景的时候是有些盲目了，所以有些情况竟然没弄清楚。

他们收国际学生但非常非常少。除非你有很强的背景。入学标准很高。学生收得很少的。医学博士不是PHD。是MD。不一样的。拿到MD还要经过家庭医生鉴定资格，要考试。然后才可以行医。基本上最年轻的行医年纪都得25以上。


不过在加拿大拿到医生资格，你可以在任何英联邦国家行医，美国也可以。

My baby sister is in U of T med-school, let me summary what she has done.

1) She did her bio-chemistry in U of O; she graduated as number two in science and number one in science over all in 4 years within the whole department.

She wrote paper published in medical journals, she did her internship in JohnsHopkinsUniversity for 3 month, and a lot of community work, she has international life guard certificate. She represented eastern Ontario competed in Miss Canada.

She won governor general award.

( all these are very Important for the medical school interview)

2) She applied for Med-school 3rd and 4th year while she's in U of O.

3) She had 5-6 interviews from med-school all over Canada on her 3rd and 4th years.

4) She didn't get any acceptance on her 3rd year, and she was accepted into U of T on her 4th year.

She’s now specializing in Orthopedics and going to be an Orthopedics surgeon, she's on her fellow-ship right now, working over 80 hours/week.
