请教买房mortgage的问题

在一家银行谈好了mortgage，所有的document都准备好了，就是还没有最后签字。现在有另一家银行给的利率更好，想换到第二家做。不知道第一家银行我们有没有什么责任？多谢。

usually not. But to be nice, you should talk to them first. They may give you better rate.

There is no need to switch to the second bank, all you need to do is to advise your first bank and asking them to beat it or match it. Of course, you haven't sign anything with either banks, you can do whatever you want to. Remember what comes around goes around.
