本人于两周前第一次下大雪时，由于路面滑，轻轻碰了一辆Honda车尾，只造成轻微刮痕一线（长不过4寸，很细的一条线，要仔细看才看得出）。 当时车主抄了我的车牌号，要了我的电话就离开了。（也没叫警察）
今天打电话来说，Honda车行估价要500多修理。
不知道这估价合理吗？
象这样当时没有任何方面来勘查现场，她找保险公司有用吗？
如果公对公，我的保险大概会涨多少？

有现场证人吗？没有他怎么能说就一定是你的错？一般情况下，要叫警察确定才行。如果他也有错，就是各人找自己的保险公司。$500 太高了。如果你想给钱，就和他一起去车行，看到底修了哪些地方。这点伤，估计不会超过$200. Good luck!

这种没有人员伤亡不是重大毁坏事故，你就是报警警察也绝对不会来的！

修车行人工每小时89刀，还要材料费，比如油漆什么的，还要测试车体其他部分。估算到500刀也算正常。对方算还行的，这种追尾事故责任在你，如果他报保险公司，在一条路上行驶，你把他屁股撞了，责任很清楚，没有证人也无妨。你的保险费就的涨。对他可没有任何影响。

修车行还算不错的，没有把他车的后保险杠换了，就是换你也无话可说，换后保险杠少说也要1000多刀。

500$ is a reasonable price, but I dont think he will fix it, so you could discuss the price with him. For sure, paying her 500$ is better than increasing your car insurance next year.

I believe you are very clear in your mind whose fault it is, at least it is so in police mind (remember, you hit from behind). So don't try to think to solve it in other unrealistic ways - it will end up with much worse than you expect.

For such small scratch, police won't be on site even if you call them. But you still should call them. If so, both of you will be asked to drive to a police station for a check and a police statement.

$500 is very reasonable (I guess she went to Honda dealer), but I suggest you discuss with her kindly and nicely.
