This is happenning to all small market teams. Sens will stay in Ottawa probably for another 5 years the max. Eventually, there will be only Toronto having pro hockey team in Canada.
This is another Rod Bryden's magic corporate strategy for unloading the debt. Unless the government is going to help the team, otherwise in the near future Ottawa will not have a NHL hockey team.
