想在Britannia Park 或 centerpointe 打排球吗？

一声队长叫得我十分惶恐。我这里倒是通95路，但离rideau center实在是远了点，而且现在还没几个人报名，大家都比较腼腆。我在想是不是应该到centerpointe去，那里好象有些国人在召集打排球，你到那里倒是比较方便。

I'd like to join if you guys play volleyball at centerpoint. As far as i know, at least 5 guys can play at centerpoint.

如果能换个地点就太好了！！哈哈，反正我不腼腆，绝对的菜鸟，就玩过一次。我可以帮你找几个人，大概3个的样子，呵呵。队长目前找到多少人了？实在很想玩啊。。

I suggest let's try at least once at Centrepointe to see if you like or not.
We had six people the week before last week (last week was raining) there.
If all of you guys want to come, we will get a possibly full house.
We got people with very good volleyball skills including couple of young and energetic ladies.
We can start at 6:30pm this coming Friday (July 25, 2008).
The volleyball court is just beside of bike path, 50 meter from on street parking and 5 minutes walk from OC Transpo Baseline Station.
I'll bring an indoor volleyball there and hope some one can bring the net or a good beach volleyball.

We rode bike there, jumped in and had lots of fun.

I believe every one is welcome here.
For people new to this sport, I'd like to share my experience with you.
1. To practice as much as possible.
If you only play an hour or two a week with us here, you won't get any progress.
So you need your own volleyball and sometimes may practice by yourself.
2. Start from bumping practice only.
After you feel comfortable with it, you may blend in setting and serving.
Spiking is the last skill set to consider.
3. Smooth is the key word for playing volleyball.
Please remember it when you practice or play.
You will find out it's very helpful for your over all progress.
BTW, I can set up a practice session off the court for people not having basic bumping skills.
