I salute you for joining a political party.
To everyone one here, it is the freedom to support the party you choose to make our voices heard that is important.
As Chinese, we should spread out wings and join the three main parties. Why are the Jews so successful in influencing the governments, both in Canada and the US? To them, what party governing a country is secondary, as long as you have your people controlling these parties.

I totally disagree with you: Chinese people is only 4.3% of Canada population. Dividing into 3 group will be more weaker voice.

虽然我未必同意cconservative 的观点，但我相信他的义工说法。我一个朋友在liberal 也做过义工，他完全是凭自己的信仰自愿去拉票，连汽油费都是自己出。当然了，我不认识cconservative，不能确定他是义工，但是你应该也不认识他，上来就骂他走狗，这样毫无用处。要辩论就上来辨，不能系统的辩，逐条分散的辨论也好过攻击。cconservative 显然做了很多的功课，文字也写的很好，没有对手与他辩论的话，会拉过些摇摆不定的人那是一定的。我最讨厌走狗这样的东西，也不知道拿了别人多少好处，到处为别人叫嚣，还打着什么义工的旗帜。群众的眼睛是雪亮的，是非好坏大家心里都清楚。有时间，有精力，到社区里去做点实事。

I don't think so. Jews act in the benefit of their group, they don't believe in principles or philosophy. We Chinese are so embattled in philosophy and opinions that we fight most of the time.
We have associations for many groups from different areas of China, always bickering with each other. Sad.

I lived in Canada for over 35 years, I went thro' all kinds of discrimination and prejudice that you would never imagine. If he couldn't respect others, he shouldn't be here.

I don't think so. Jews act in the benefit of their group, they don't believe in principles or philosophy. We Chinese are so embattled in philosophy and opinions that we fight most of the time.

I'm not quite sure Jews has a lot influence in Canada But I am sure it's so in USA, as we can see US and Israel are Alliances in the middle-east. How they can influence US, look at following

The main thing is, they pull all these resources together for a common goal. The Chinese will never do that, everyone is busy minding their own business.
P.S. Once I become proficient in using the Chinese word processor (plus I normally use traditional characters), I shall then post in Chinese.

总结我的观点就是： 现阶段我们中国人在加拿大的经济基础和影响力远不能和犹太人相提并论， 所以就只能团结起来（不要自己人斗来斗去），以一个声音说话才能响亮些，就像前一阶段国会山反藏独游行。
等我们经济基础好了，影响力自然就有了。看看过去，一代代的华人不是越来越强吗？从最早的修铁路，到后来开餐馆，到现在的ｈｉｇｈ ｔｅｃｈ，再看看第二代接受高等教育的比例。在加上祖国（Motherland)越来越强大，假以时日一定越来越有实力。
回到选举话题，以保守党的寅吃茂粮，意识形态优先以及对中国的不友好，为什么不把票投给别的党而让haper（不管他当选与否）或其他政客以后更顾及华人民意呢？

哈珀政府执政后其中一个最先通过的法案是定期选举日。虽然是一个少数政府，这法案得到反对党的支持通过，加拿大第一个法定联邦选举日将会在明年10月19日。转眼间这个少数政府快要执政3年，远超过历史中少数政府平均执政只有18个月。虽然目前保守党政府要求提前进行选举，选民对这个法案的意义并无强烈看法。因为一个不能有效运作的只会浪费纳税人钱的政府，对国家长远没有任何好处。与其硬脱一年，不如尽早选出稳定的政府。没有人喜欢搞选举，但更没有人喜欢政府低效而无所事事。今年二月份，民众对自由党控制的参议院迟迟不通过打击犯罪法案已经异常愤怒了，按目前的局势继续维持下去，政府的效率只会更差。

我也作过义工，但不是这种类型的，是实实在在帮助人的那种，看得见，摸得着，心不亏。但有些义工，是为了支持一个，打倒另一个或几个，这样的义工，其动机不得不叫人怀疑。君不见，隔三岔五的在CFC上高唱“某某党好，某某党好，某某党是人民的好领导。”整个就是某党的宣传机器，至于那么积极吗？其所发表的言论，也无非是歌功颂德，溜须拍马。某党真的有那么好吗？说白了，也就是骗骗糊涂人，拉点选票而已。扪心自问，你那么了解某党，也上来说说某党的不足之处，人无完人嘛。
如果有一天，某党做出对中国人民不利的决策，这义工做的还有意义吗？希特勒有没有义工？给日本人当汉奸的是不是也是义工？
