Fine turn you resume. Don't use ONE resume to apply for different jobs. Lots of company use computer to scan resume if you don't have those specific words they are looking for ( like certian skills, knowledge and experience) in your resume, your application is gone for good.

In other words, tailor make your resume for each and every job you are appling. Make a follow up call, see if they have received your resume and ask to speak to the person who is incharge of hiriing to further dissus and try to make an appointment for an interview. Finaliy, after the interview don't forget to make a follow up letter or email to thankyou for the time and opportunity. And then further reconfirm you are the best candidate for the job.

Also, try head hunting company (or their web site). Start talking to people, lots of people about your job hunting. About 60% of job opening end up offer to someone who knew someone.

Flood基本概括了最重要的2点了，你要是觉得懒就把resume好好规划一下，最重要的几个组件可以不动，不过组件的细节需要不断调整
skill set是随着job description改动的

学校的career fair要多参加，学校如果有career service可以帮忙改resume的话，可以让他们看一下，修改点语法问题(不过不要完全依赖他们的评论，真正能在外头找到工作的人，谁还会在学校干活？)

多多利用网络资源 monster.ca, workopolis.com，上传一份自己的简历，笼统一点的，把所有skill set都包括进去，很多agent公司跟Flood说的那样都是用机器搜索一堆resume的,大部分keyword如果能匹配的话，你的简历才有机会上台。
