可在网上找些简历样板看看, 着手写简历；再看看面谈注意事项等。

至于专业方面的东西，看看适合自己工作的职位，有什么要求。需要做些功课。

另外，就是有时间的话，如果感觉语言需要再升华一下，读点语言课。

Well, you are developer/tester. Too many people in this town as developer. I am not here to turn you down but I am suggesting you go thru some official training in Canada, like Algonquin College, get into their coop program.

Also, while you are developing or testing software. There must be some softskills developed. Mention them in your resume. Also, prepare resume that fits the job, not just a general one.
