I support these professors to go on strike. In fact, they should!

Bus drivers are screaming to incease their salary. Ontario primary school teachers also want a 12.5% increase in the coming 4 yrs. Mind you, primary school teachers get 2 months off in summer, while professors never get summer off since they have to publish and do research.

Buses drivers are able to make 100K a year, higher than a lot of professors in this country. -- We are sending very bad information to young generation: Don't go to university. Finish your high school and become a bus driver.

In canada, the one who screams loudly gets cookies. In this case, I prefer to give the " cookies" to the professors, other than those bus drivers.

No, university professors don't have a strong union. Primary school teachers have strong union, though.

You need to be a senior professor to get 100K annual income --Normally, 15-20 years after you get your phd. Junior professors( full time) can only get around 70K a year.

Bus drivers get much better paid than university professors. This is insane.
