请问各位，我有个朋友要申请研究生，但是TOEFL的成绩不够，请问有没有conditional offer的先例？多谢

I think only carleton can give such kind of conditional offer, OU didn't do that.

It's possible

It's possible, because I got an conditional offer with 60 of CAEL and was asked to take TOEFL or CAEL to get 580 or 70, since I have taken ELS190 in Carleton before and got a letter stating that ESL190 of B- is equavelent to TOEFL 580, so the condition is removed for English proficiency.

I know several graduate students who are taking ESL2361.
They have conditions because their TWE of TOFEL less than 4.5.
As I know, a good mark of TOFEL and poor TWE may be accepted as
a condition.
