City TREE program， 该挑哪棵树呢？

今天刚收到通知可以挑树了，就是不知道哪种树好养一点，花期长一点，不会招太多的虫子，名单如下，请各位达人赐教：
Small:
Serviceberry
Crabapple
Japanese lilac

Large:
Red Maple
Sugar maple
Hackberry
Honey locust
Little leaf linden
Prospector elm

Japanese Lilac 隔年开花，受不了丁香花味道的要考虑一下。我家隔壁邻居有一颗，开花的时候熏得我头疼，好像比原来我家种过的普通丁香灌木味道厉害。

请问你是从哪里收到的通知， city 寄信到你家吗？ 我怎们啥都没受到呢？ 是不是每年都可以有免费的树呢？

除非后院足够大，否则不能种枫树。数年后，枫树的根部很可能长得过远距离，破坏房基或者进入地下室。如果对邻居的房屋造成破坏，还会惹来麻烦。有个同事就遇到这样的难题，最后花钱请人把树连根拔除。

另外，树叶也会落到下水槽或管道。清理起来也麻烦。

啊~~~枫叶的树根能长多大的范围啊？ 根长的方向可不能控制噢。

当年我除草的时候，别人告诉我，这些maple树的种子很有扩散力

如果你当时没去掉，来年就都发芽了，而且根还特别深。。。
