护照问题

如果公民宣誓完赶不及办加拿大护照可不可以拿原来的中国护照和美国签证去美国阿？回来会不会有问题啊？
早定好的行程，结果发现第一天宣誓第二天走。。。
有没有知道的请指点下，谢谢~

看不出来有什么问题。

只要中国护照有效，美国签证有效，应该没有问题。

但是如果你是去工作，那就可能有问题。如果是旅游，我猜是没有问题。

The issue is, your Chinese citizenship/passport is void as soon as you get your Canadian citizenship.

You cannot travel with an invalid travel document (passport).

Can you travel to the US by land with a Canadian citizenship card and a driver's licence? (It used to be Okay.)

I know somebody back china by using chinese passport even they oathed as canadian citizenship. the reason is you don't have enough time to get the new passport yet. so it is reasonable to use the old one. But I don't know how they come back yet.

Now when you travel to US, the passport of canada is necessary, citizenship card is not enough anymore.

Yes, this could be the problem: "But I don't know how they come back yet." In other words, you could get into China with a Chinese passport, but the problem would be how you could get out.

It was ok when there was still landing paper years ago. They don't take away your landing paper when you become citizen. So you can go china using chinese passport and back with landing paper.

If you still has maple leaf card valid and your chinese passprot valid, you should be back to china without problem. If you don't have your maple leaf card then forget about it. I believe they take away your maple leaf card when you become a citizen.

进去宣誓的时候枫叶卡就收走了。出来的时候拿到的是成为公民的那张纸。

有一次我们全家到美国去。大姑娘拿美国护照，而且我都没有带她的公民卡。我想美国人来加拿大应该没有问题的。当我们回来的时候，加拿大官员问了我很多问题。让我们到旁边的办公室内去核实她身份。等他们键入我女儿的资料后，就让我们走了。

后来我带孩子去美国时就没有忘记她的公民证。再后来就给她换了加拿大护照（因为美国人到中国的签证贵，要130加币。加拿大人到中国的签证费只要50加币）。

加拿大不排斥多重国籍，除非你要做MP或者女王住加拿大代表。那叫politically correct. 所以你回来加拿大时只要能够证明你加拿大的身份（如公民证）就行了。

中国护照是和移民卡一起使用的，如果你是加拿大公民了，移民卡被没收了，中国护照作废了，你不可能通过这个途径进入加拿大的。
