Fire sale agent

I signed a popular agent to sell my house over a month ago. The agent has quite number of houses for sale, and was not felt working hardly and dedicatedly on selling my house. I intended to fire this agent and find a new one with less number of houses in hands. But I noticed the agreement is valid for 3 months, which makes me wonder any penalty associated with the cancellation or any bad effects by doing so. Do I need to wait until after 3 months. The agreement is standard one from Royal Lepage. Thanks in advance!

Yes, you have to be very careful with the agreement. I've a friend had this situation before. For example, IF within the next 3 months, someone give you an offer even without going through your previous agent, you still have to give that agent commission. You better check the agreement or with that agent again, or you will be double dud. Good luck

popular可不是认真负责的代名词，很多多年的老AGENT都成“油条”了，不如找个不太POPULAR的，肯定非常买力气，我得一个朋友同时给两个打电话，“大牌”的手里也许有客户，见她态度不是很确定要买房子，态度很冷淡，而另一个出道不是太久的到是很热情，而且积极帮她出谋划策，给了她不少好的建议。因此大家不用太迷信。

you may have to wait this expired before sign other agent..if you find the buyer wait 2 month and save a lots money for agent's fee
