His point isn't to dis the restaurant, but rather to show what we as a community is missing -- the viewpoint from a true Canadian.

he's got a point that we as a community is missing the view point from a true canadian? the entire chinese community is criticized by canadians since there was a chinese community. a true canadian, cannot understand the community, that's why it seems like we are missing a view point from a canadian. when you take in account of what a white man thinks a chinese community should be. you get something close to yangtze pretty much. A resturant that treats certain people like crap just because they do things diffrently. that's when the line between racism and a really crappy service bcomes pretty thin.

I agree with you there 100%.

The question rises somewhat as would you sacrifice your sense of identity for profit, if you take it to the extreme.

i agree.i actually thought mongolian hotpot was a quite good. when i was there, the waiter serviced us quite well, and asked us if we needed any help every couple minutes or so. he provided the people with the same service not because they are chinese or white, but because they are customers. infact, we gave him quite a generous amout of tip because we though he was great, and that's how i remeber that they had good services. We tipped them around 15% because of their service.i can't stand them for bashing them for bad service, that is just completly made up. and i can not forgive them for bashing the people with good serivce and praising the people with just horrible service.

周五晚上去，看到老外还是很多的。整体服务水平不错。
不过前台的态度有待提高：进来俩老外，排队等位置的时候完全lost的感觉。偶忍不住上去问了一下，这俩人果然是第一次来，不知道这涮羊肉是怎么回事情。建议前台看见老外进来后，问一句：Have you even been here before？ 如果没来过，简单介绍几句好了。这跟老外不老外没多大关系，进门就是客。
