I find one of the nicest drive IN Ottawa is the drive that leaves from downtown, take Colonel By Drive, along the canal, turn at Prince of Wales, alongside experimental farm, into Dow's Lake, onto Queen Elizabeth, and come back towards the backdrops of Parliament Hill, Chateau Laurier, the art gallery...preferably at sun set

If you pick someone up from the airport, make sure you take this route if you can, it's beautiful.
