如果你发烧、咳嗽,去看医生,没有医生会给你做H1N1检测,这大概就是为什么病例增加的这么快。

非常感谢楼主,这么快就翻倍了,大家都要小心啊!

OTTAWA — Health officials are investigating possible flu outbreaks at as many as 13 Ottawa schools, which they believe could be caused by the swine flu virus

The names of two schoold are here:

In Ottawa, the virus has been confirmed at two elementary schools, where more than three cases each have been reported. The schools are Guardian Angels in Stittsville and St. Clare Catholic School in Orleans, where many students have been absent.

Reaction from the government:
"Swine flu at school no reason to keep healthy children at home, doctor says"
Swine flu at school no reason to keep healthy children at home, doctor says

comments from readers:

"I don't think they should start closing schools now, since it's so close to end of year, but I do think that the affected schools should be named. No one's going to show up with pitchforks and shotguns. Parents have the right to know if their child's school has been exposed to this or not--Dr. Levy's seemingly laissez-faire attitude towards this is disturbing, to say the least."

" I'm writing from a little city in Texas (Cibolo) where our schools had the virus. My son was in grade 5 and they were out for 2 weeks...we received an automated call the moment they found out the virus was in the high school down the street and EVERY parent appreciated it. The following days we received more phone calls and one saying that ALL the schools in this area (14 of them) were closed immediately because there are brothers and sisters in most schools. In the stores people wore masks, people stayed home, church events & sports were cancelled, but you know what...the virus isn't here any longer! My son might have missed 2 weeks of school BUT everyone here is healthy now! Parents need to know what is going on in the schools where their child attends..I lived in Ottawa for 26 years and when I went to school there, they were informative. This Dr. Levy needs to realize that he's not the only parent out there and just because he sends his child to school doens't meen every other parent should..shame on him for his ignorance towards this virus!"

Highly agreed that parents need know what happened in their children's schools!!!

13 affected schools reported on Jun2, what is the number now. Parents should know right away!!! This is make me very upset toward the attitude the Canadian government deals with the Swine Flu.

the city's public health unit now says 37 schools have reported suspected cases of H1N1 on Jun 10, up from 29 schools last Thursday, and 13 on Jun2.

thanks CCC for the article provided

I suspect the real case may be more because 如果你发烧、咳嗽,去看医生,没有医生会给你做H1N1检测。My co-worker has flu like sick and took sick leave, who knows if it is H1N1 flu......
