Tell you truth, my friend. I totally got lost. I drove by there this morning. What I saw is it's clear four lanes there. But, the lady told us a different story, three lanes. What can I say then? What did the officer think then? I give up.

By the way, still try to got the police report before you go to court, so you can know base on what she gave you the ticket.

If the parking lot you found the guy was at same position where the accident happened, and shows there have three line, and not far from TD, then you have a big chance, but still base on what the police report stated. So got the police report is important, 知己知彼, 百战百胜. If you don't what the police will state then how could you fight.

The parking lot near those little stores, right next to the spot of the accident.

建议LZ将事件的经过从头到尾再认真回忆一下然后用最最准确的中文表述出来，中间最好付上多张地图显示诸如你从哪一点拐上的Merivale，从哪一点并入直行线，从哪一点并入的右转线，追尾大概是发生在哪一点，在哪一点找到的追尾者等等。
以此作为蓝本大家可以帮你搞定英语怎么表述。但如果你的中文版本就不能把事情说清楚再引来上百个分析推测的回贴，那老实说上法庭你是没有什么胜算的。
另外在POLICE STATION警察除了给你开罚单，有没有给你REPORT或让你在什么文件上签字？
