Coming soon (to) and opening soon are different in meaning, I guess.

因为那是“外”文，不是自己的语言，难免有词不达意的地方。可以理解，没有什么奇怪的。看到电影、文艺演出的广告喉一声”Coming soon"，觉得很精彩到位。然而，传统行业的商家不用这种表述。考究一下，没有什么不好。精益求精么。何况这不是一家夫妻便利店，有损公司形象。从侧面说明，他们的广告部工作不够严谨。

Yes, in most cases, coming soon is used to advertise something like a show or movie that will be coming to town, but not here to stay.
