Your apartment should pay for pets control to elimiate bugs. It's the law. But don't expect too much. pets Control sucks.
My experience:
1) Wash all of your clothes and sheets etc. Seal them in plastic bags. Go to Dollar Store, you can have cheap plastic bags there and they are useful.
2) Buy eliminator from Home Deport or CanadianTire. Pay attention to the direction. Make sure they are for Bedbugs. (By the way, are you sure it's bedbugs in your apartment?) Three to four bottles should be enough for two bedrooms apartment. You can also use powder after the spary to enhance the strength.
3)After the spary, go for vacation for a couple of days. remember open all of your windows before you go. Bedbugs will die when temperature goes down to -6.
That's what I have done. I haven't seen those bugs since then.
