my team hired 1 cs2 and 1 cs3 recently.
and for most of the local ppl i know who working for the goverment and below 30 years old age are still saving money for their down payment.

if u concerning goverment workers as the major power of the local real estate market then in the next 5 --10 years the prices of the properties will grow a lot again.

there is one department that is hiring, you got it. CRA, especially the auditing department. There are four business categories that will be intensively audited this year. Restaurant, Health, Convenience Stores, Construction (Rennovation). If you are in one of them, watch out. The personal tax is going to be audited heavily this year too. They are calling it the hidden revenue (lost tax plus hefty fines), there are areas they are very interested, oversea investment, renting, international shopping etc.
