如何面对失败?

I was given questions like these, anyone has good answers?

* In carrying out your role as a XXX, describe what steps you would take to obtain information from Branches and what steps would you employ if your contact was not cooperating in terms of timeliness and quality of material.


* You are working in a Branch which provides financial services and advice to other Branches. You are assigned responsibility for one of these client Branches. One of your colleagues informs you that they overheard a client of yours say that the financial reports are confusing and difficult to understand. What would you do?
 
感觉你是面试的问题, 在美国的时候有看过一个"面试须知"的DVD, 很受启发. 面试主要看以下几个方面:
1. 形象气质, 是否投缘 (衣着服饰, 甚至稍稍的香水味都可能影响结果; 我认为女性必须化妆)
2. 谈吐是否符合工作需求, 面带笑容回答问题,不急不躁,不要过于炫耀, 自信而稍带谦虚
3. 本人能力是否如简历那样 (基本上如果有面试,说明你的基本情况是过关的); 逐一划勾.
4. 语言能力当然是必须的,基本的,至少的;
剩下的恐怕就是运气了.

这应该是考验LZ的经验问题吧. 回答满意的话说明你做过类似的沟通, 你说不知道就说明你不qualify. 两个都是关于沟通的问题.

Answer 1: Communication is very important being a role as a financial analyst. If I were at that situation, I would first find out who is the right person to answer my questions. If this person is not cooperate with me when I try to obtain the necessary information, I will try to find out why, and see if there's any misunderstanding. If this person is simply too busy to answer my questions by call me back or email me, I will try to arrange a meeting time with him or her (and let him decided the date and time), tell this person the information is very important to my analysis report, it will affect the conclusion. His/her coorperation would help me get things done properly, and I will appreciate his help.

Answer 2: First of all, when I finished a financial report, I will make sure the report itself is clean and clear. I will list all points and then analysis them in detail later on in my report. If I were at that situation, I will first ask the colleague who that client might be, is he sure what he overheard. Then I will contact this client directly, asking him "generally speaking" what does he think about the report, does he have any questions. Anything he need me to make it clear to him or explain to him. If the answer is yes, I will do my best to solve his confusing mind, if it was too hard to explain on the phone, I will schedule a time meeting him. Make sure all questions being answered and the client is satisfied. After that, I will tell my colleague what I did for the client and thank him for "overheard" the client's complain which allows me to help the client understand my report better.
