[提醒] 移民来加超过五年办理中国护照换发 (收到CIC的信)

最近在办理此事，得知需要向CIC申请一封证明未加入加拿大国籍的信。

按照使馆提供的程序联络CIC，递交申请后一个多月杳无音讯！再次给CIC打电话才被告知，这封信的平均办理时间是四个月！！！！

只是想提醒一下有同样需要的村民，如果中国护照快要到期，需要早着手准备...

是加籍华人。入了籍，就如同加拿大女孩嫁了人，姓都改了，就别抱怨了。

让大家再给加拿大政府缴纳一笔申请费用.
持枫叶卡就是未入籍的证明, 因为入籍以后, 加拿大政府将收回枫叶卡.
但是换中国护照必须提供未入籍证明. 枫叶卡不管用. 这是政策.

估计是因为有人钻空子，入籍的时候说枫叶卡丢了，然后凭这个出入中国。

我知道这个规定,于是在离登陆满5年的日子早2个月去续中国护照,结果人家照样不给续.
我说"你规定是5年,我还不到5年为什么不给续?"
人家说,快到了就不给! 必须去办未入籍证明! 态度很凶恶.

中国政策很奇怪,写了5年,不到5年也按5年办,我要认识她,估计5年超2个月也一样办.

After calling CIC, they suggest us send the application in again using courier and mark "URGENT" on the envolop. Include a letter in the package and explain what the urgency is. The CIC process centre will prioritize it. We did as they suggested and waiting for the result. Will update the post once we got the letter.

Called CIC again, they said the letter has been mailed out last Friday, July 23rd.
