I bet all kids could do better than adults, or women could do better than men.

Agree. A complete IQ test should cover a much wider range of competence apart from visual reasoning, e.g. cognitive ability, memory etc.

And CCC is right: children and women are generally better at dealing with visual topics (or problems that demand more sensitivity) than men, while men usually outdo women in abstract logic and rational topics.
