ok, here is the info:
This morning I just called the human resource service, they told me the purpose for this is only to add an expired date on it no other meaning; we don't need to pay for anything and they give us one year to accomplish this procedure. What we need to do is bring our old sin card and the paper that given from the immigrant department and then go to 2525 carling Ave. to reapply for it. Usually after you handed in your application, within 3 or 4 weeks you can get your new sin card. BTW, the office hour is 8:30a.m-4:00p.m every day.
