Halloween is a fun day for the kids, big or small. Who cares about the religious stuff? I'm glad being able to contribute to their happiness.
Our budget for Halloween candies has always been $50+ every year. Normally between 200~250 kids would show up at the door that night. There were a couple years, too many to handle, I simply put the candy basket outside the front door for them to "help-yourself".
It's also fun to see that my costume would always scare a few little ones and they would wait for and follow some big kids to get the treats.
