Help! Nortel DCPP

刚看到这个帖子，如同楼上所说的，标准的ＤＣＰＰ　ＰＬＡＮ是需要两年的ＶＳＥＳＴＩＮＧ　ＰＥＲＩＯＤ的。但是有些ＰＬＡＮ对不是自己主动离职的情况有特殊的规定。这些规定应在在ＰＬＡＮ的条款中有规定。如果你找不到当年给你的ＬＡＹ　ＯＦＦ　的ＰＡＣＫＡＧＥ里面的资料，你可能也可以去找这个ＰＬＡＮ当年注册时候的文件。这些ＰＬＡＮ都是应该按照安省的法律注册的，你去查查他们的注册文件呢？

Thanks for <!-- / flags end -->Jalise and 版主 help and suggestion. I do remember that I asked Nortel if I can take DCPP (or DPSP ?) with me the answer was yes. If DPSP has no 2 year service requirement. then what I asked is DCPP. The important thing is that on my plan statement the DCPP vesting statues is 100% vested. I ask the plan administration to send me the plan DCPP policy and 2001 statement. I am waiting for these documents.

I have 2 questions:
Does DCPP is vested some percentage each year after 2 year service or vested totally after 2 years service?
How to search the registration document? In case they do not send me the documents.

根据一般的RPP的条款，不论是联邦的还是省级的，都要2年的vesting period。如果你没有工作满两年，你只能转出你自己的share。
如果company share被return的话，是pension plan拿到钱，不是公司也不是administrative company.

How to search the registration document? In case they do not send me the documents. ---- First of all, it is federal plan or ON plan? Federal plan goes by PBSA 1985, ON plan goes by PBA. Plan # is not confidential information, you should get it from HR pension administrator or it should be on your letter when you transferred out your pension funds.

Thank you tomato_z. The Nortel networks investment plan is Ontario registration plan. But it is not post on FSCO website so I can not get its document. Must contact plan administration. I am waiting for it now.
