Thanks Apple. It seems no shuttle bus needed anymore when connecting in detroit. Just gate-to-gate. Besides, I find I can arrive in Detroit 3 hours earlier. So no problem in detroit.
How about connecting in Tokyo. Will it be smooth enough?

It's much more simple in Tokyo - The airport is not big, you know, the small Japan ^_^
Just make sure the flight you will take arrive there on time.
There is no hotel in that airport and the cheapest one nearby (May 2000 at Holiday Inn when I missed my flight due to some personal reason) will cost you around 110 USD per night.

US visa needed, because of flying to Detroit. Apple said Japan visa is not needed. Flight to Beijing/Shanghai available. U.S. visa also needed.
To Romt:
Just call the Chinese travel agencies(like Tinbao). Seems Chinese agencies can provides cheaper prices.
Last week To Hongkong: 950(including tax etc.), Beijing/shanghai is about 100 cheaper.
