My boys are in a complete french school (under french school board), the IB program is available from JK and this program will extended to high school too. At grade 6, a higher program (Programme de douance) compare to gifted will be introduced. Is it the same for English school board?
The IB program in French school is a bit different as in English. The GIFT classes in IB program are called PPCS for grade 7 to grade 10, PDBI for grade 11 and 12, which PPCS and PDBI stand for Programme du Premier Cycle du Secondaire (PPCS) and Programme du Diplôme du Baccalauréat International (PDBI) respectively. The GIFT class is also called "enrichie" en français. There are 2 sort of regular classes in French school. They are called "théorique" et "appliqué".
