John McCrae Secondary School in Barrhaven is a very good high school. I am pretty puzzled why it is ignored by people. It's rated as 26/722 in 2010, and 29/722 in last five years.

we just moved to Barrhaven. Google searche top ten high school in ottawa, find John McCrae belongs to top 10, so send my child there. not many chinese students in the school.

mattamy 自己社区有建highschool的规划（lot 90 对面)，以后那个社区人多了，是否划在John McCrae Secondary Schoo l就很难说了。

Nepean HS 和 Earl of March HS 是两所没有天才班的学校， 排名一直靠前，也不难上。按我的理解， 目前最好的学校应该是Colonel By HS 和 Lisgar HS， Colonel By 有 IB program， 学校好手云集， 很有一些中国人的孩子最后跟不上，学习压力很大，但是在这所学校拔尖的学生定是全省的尖子了，能跟上， 就是好孩子。 Lisgar HS 好在Gifted Program，老牌好高中。 Glebe HS 和 Merivale HS
就很一般了。 现在有Gifted Program 的学校就三所， Lisgar HS，Merivale HS 和 Bell HS 。 我感觉IB program 比Gifted Program要好。 如果不是 Gifted 的学生， 上Nepean HS 和 Earl of March HS， 口碑很好。
