Californication
Californication is an American comedy-drama television series created by Tom Kapinos, which aired for seven seasons on Showtimefrom August 13, 2007 to June 29, 2014. The show follows New Yorker Hank Moody (David Duchovny), a troubled novelist who moves toCalifornia and suffers from writer's block. His drinking, womanizing and drug abuse complicate his relationships with his longtime lover Karen (Natascha McElhone) and their daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin).
The show's other main characters are Moody's best friend and agent, Charlie Runkle (Evan Handler), and Charlie's wife, Marcy (Pamela Adlon). Recurring themes are sex, drugs and rock and roll, all of which are featured regularly. The show has been nominated for many awards and won several, including winning two Emmy Awards (nominated for two others) and one Golden Globe Award (nominated for five others).

如果 sex, drugs and rock and roll 是这部剧的主题，那么我只能作为了解美国人的生活来看看了。不要看它得了什么奖，看它的主题。很多电视剧宣传了这样的内容，让大多数人潜移默化中受影响。
“主流文化很傻，制造者很精，他们有数钱的动机，无育人的责任。主流们在追求快意人生的迷途里被用性刺激，用金钱套牢。当60%的老美信用卡欠钱平均一万多美元时，精英阶层却贪婪吸食着卡奴们的利息。经济危机一次，财富就往精英手中转移一次。主流愚昧，精英梦寐。”
我喜欢用电脑看节目，我只发现CBC上有一些英语的电影电视剧可以看。CNN的新闻特别好看，可我在电脑上就找不到，那种时间很长的报道。

昨天见到几个不同国家来的人，一个印度女人，一个非洲大使馆人员家里的年轻孩子-他有的英语发音我真不懂，一位法国老帅哥-在法国是一名警察，想想看加拿大警察什么样子，穿一身Adidas运动服，我就特别想问他法国的一些东西，他只讲了法国的很贵的车被中国人买掉了，还有一个阿尔及利亚人，因为他的太太在这里找到一份很好的工作，从Montreal 过来的，还有一名政府工作的女士，她组织得很好。和他们交流，就象眼睛前面又打开了几扇窗户。
那个徐天讲了几句话我蛮喜欢听的：
去晚了菜场，鱼不新鲜，小菜都不水灵了。
我不想出头，我只想做一个普通人，过普普通通的日子。一出头，很容易消失掉的。
那部剧里，田丹特别喜欢买零食或者小吃，买很多放在家里，还喜欢吃蛋糕。徐天做事情以前，都要把姆妈和女友安排好了再去行动，非常有孝心和人情。 这些我都很喜欢。
我孩子现在又可以吃3顿饭了，我很高兴他能听我们的话。Colonel By 的学习训练还是有用的。他的学习不是最好，但是都是靠他自己学出来的。他还参加了文艺表演club了。我们一直很想他。
