抗议的基本上都是住Beaver Pond南面的那一群老外啦. 扔鸡蛋这种事那帮人估计还干不出来. 都是有头有面的人嘛.

KNL买那块地10多年不见他们抗议, 现在真要砍了就来抗议, 还美其名曰保护自然, 保护乌龟什么的. 其实说白了不就是怕影响他们那一片的房价嘛. 老外也有虚伪的.

A quick note...

I just called the school board since it will take a while for them to update its web site..I was informed the board meeting lasted until midnight last night and all (5 of them?) the recommendations in the embedded doc have been approved...

Lisgar已经过去了，下一个争夺战，肯定是 Earl of March HS 。

Earl of March HS 现在是Ottawa地区，普通高中（不包括IB,Gifted program）中，前三名。

炒房子。但是一定要炒学校200米范围内的，谁知道以后会怎样划区。

Remind you, this area started massive house-building .... in .... 1997!!!

After 13+ years...several thousand homes now stand.... Not a single OCDSB school was built here! Who's responsible?

那倒也不是，我知道的就有South March Public School，Catholic School Board在Kanata Estate正在建小学；还有French School Board在Bridlewood在建另一所法语小学。
但是的确，public schools严重不足，学校建设速度远远低于builder建房速度。我们每年三分之一强的地税都用来教学费，这个结果太不像话了！
