请教如何处理从瓷砖到hardwood的transition

Actually you can goto see some model house to check how those floor installers deal with those cases.
Humidity is bad for hardwood floor. I dont think you should turn on your humidifier. As long as the dryness of the wood plank and your subfloor is similar, you shouldn't have too much problem. Didn't forget to put on a layer of wax paper between wood plank and subfloor

不过错误的信息我还是要指出来。 实木地板是随湿度的增加而膨胀，其膨胀的程度与subfloor不会因为湿度一致而相同，而且之间没有什么因果关系。原则上安装实木地板的房子推荐保持恒定45-50%的湿度，也就是说冬天要加湿夏天要驱湿。但大多数家庭做不到，其湿度可能由10%到70%之间变换。所以即使是专业人员安装都感到头痛，无论是地板生产厂家还是安装的contractor在warranty的条款里都会注明室内要保持恒定45-50%的湿度，否则地板起鼓不予保证。

我家里冬天开加湿器夏天开空调，湿度在20%-60%之间。我的地板是夏天挤得满满，冬天有条细缝。

Too dry will cause gaps so it's important to maintain some level of the humidity in winter time. Most of house can keep 35-45% if no serious air leaks. Too humid will cause cupping but that humid most likely caused by water damage(leaking) or moisture from subfloor, not from the humid air. I guess that's the reason why no hardwood floor in basement if no serious insulated subfloor installed to prevent moisture from ground.

我家的湿度总是大, 现在 50,夏天 70.两年前就想装地板, 就因为湿度大一直拖着. 现在不想再等了. 无论如何这段时间也要把地板装上. 整天看着地毯太不舒服.
也许是我们的表有问题,也许是我的感觉有问题. 现在尽管是50,我还是觉得有点干.
