关于报税的一个问题

去年第一次买房，所以在报税的时候申请了Home buyer amount. 今天收到CRA的信要求补充材料，其中一条要求确认我们是第一次买房：

Confirmation that you and your spouse or common-law partner are first-time home buyer.

请问这个需要证明吗？如何证明？
