今天车停在停车场,后面的bump被撞是否该报告给保险公司?

今天去买菜时, 车停在停车场,后面的bump被撞裂了,还撞出了个洞. 不知道被谁撞的. 我是否应该报告给保险公司?

自己去警察局陈述。换一个 BUMP大概需要多少钱，500-1200。看什么车。肯定不涨报险。但影不影信誉等级（这个供以后降保费）不太清楚。一般自付部分是500吧。若共需1200修复，值得报，700刀哪。若600就算了。建议首先咨询你的承保公司。BTW,修车花费差别很大的。dealer比小车行贵，用原厂配件比兼容的贵。兼容的比拆车场旧件贵。所以不能一概而论。谁买单决定如何修！！！

刚问了保险公司，他们告诉我，说我的insurance does not cover collision，而这个hit and run 是属于collision. 所以，保险公司不赔偿！只好自认倒霉了。

谢谢以上几位的关心。hit and run 不在赔偿之列并不是因为我买的是第三者保险，而是我的保险不包含collision.

另外，我并没有claim任何赔偿，只是向保险公司询问。所以不存在clean record is gone 的问题。

I don't think the insurance company is correct. Even if you only have 3rd party insurance, you are still covered in a collision as long as you are not at fault.

Thanks Jeffhoxu. The reason is not because I have third party insurance. The reason is my insurance does not cover collision.
But if I find the guy who hit and ran and the insurance company can verify this with that guy, my insurance will cover this damage and it will be compensated by that guy's company finally.
