minister of state 相当于 junior minister,上面还有个minister,分管具体一方面。

Alice Siu-Ping Wong (simplified Chinese: 黄陈小萍; traditional Chinese: 黃陳小萍) (born June 30, 1948) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to represent the electoral district of Richmond. She is a member of the Conservative Party and formerly served as the Parliamentary Secretary for Multiculturalism. In 2011, Wong was appointed as the Minister of State for Seniors by Prime Minister Stephen Harper, becoming the first Chinese-Canadian woman to sit in Cabinet.

Second largest Cabinet. Is it 39? The largest Cabinet belongs to Mulroney.

Mulroney is sworn in as PM
Broadcast Date: Sept. 17, 1984

He won the election with a landslide victory. And today — Sept. 17, 1984 — Brian Mulroney is officially sworn in as prime minister. "Today was Mulroney's day," announces reporter Jason Moscovitz in this CBC-TV clip. But today's story isn't all about Mulroney. It's also about his new cabinet. He's appointing Canada's largest cabinet ever, with a total of 40 members. The new PC prime minister hopes to have a cabinet that better represents all regions, both sexes, and a mix of veterans and rookies.

John Baird,

Diane Finley - Her husband Doug Finley was campaign manager and director of political operations for the Conservative Party of Canada and is a Canadian Senator.[1]

all one big happy family

(Foreign Affairs and Int'l Trade)
