Target taking over Ottawa Zellers locations

Ottawa shoppers will soon be bidding a final farewell to Zellers and saying hello to Target.
Target Corp. announced the first 105 locations it will take over when it begins opening stores in early 2013. Seven locations have been identified in the Ottawa area.
Ottawa locations include:
Hazeldean Mall
Meadowlands Shopping Centre
Place D'Orleans
Bayshore Shopping Centre
Billings Bridge Plaza
RioCan St. Laurent
County Fair Mall, Smith Falls
Target announced the takeover in January, saying it is paying the Hudson's Bay Company $1.825 billion to acquire the leasehold interests in 220 Zellers locations across Canada.
HBC was bought buy an American company in 2008.
