Doesn't matter who wins the cup, in my mind Timmy Thomas is definitely the Conn Smyth Trophy winner.

That's probably true. They just have to endure another 40 minutes of torture.
I cannot imagine how crazy the fans are right now on the streets in Vancouver.
When playoff comes to this deep, it’s more like a fight than play. Whichever team has more fighters normally skates away with the cup. Which team do you think has more fighters on their roster?

I don't want to answer this question.
If I must answer it, I have to say Bruins have more fighters on their roster:(

That reminded me Dominik Hasek.

yes, as acrobatic as dominator, as mentally tough as dominator. a great goalie in the making.

Welcome MacLean! Almost one point a game when he was a NHL player! 324G+349A for 673 points in 719 NHL regular games.

With new coach and new draft/faces, new blood from B-Sens, the Sens will back sooner than you think.

GO Sens GO :zhichi:

Looks good on paper, still have to wait and see when the season starts.

Five year with Mike Babcock as assistant coach for Red Wings, 11 years as player with very high scoring record. When he walks in the locker room, you can expect the players show respect to him more than any previous Sens head coaches, and it’s critical to Sens. I think it’s a good pick.

I also heard that Oilers might want to trade their #1 pick and Bryan Murray is thinking to make a package to get that #1 pick. We will see at the end of the month.

Unfortunately, you are right.

Boston is lot tougher team with only few so-called skillful players, and they happen to be David Krejci, Patrice Bergeron and Rich Peverley. The rest of roster is full of fighters led by Lucic, Marchand and Chara. But their skillful players are actually more dangerous than fighters and they are real silent killers. That’s why I am saying Canucks will be underdog in game 7 simply because they are softer in nature.

i going to sleep. see u guys wednesday night.

what? This is huge, just took a quick look at the current prospect ranking, 3 centers on top 5, which is exactly what sens need. However, I don't see anything Sens can offer what will worthwhile to oilers.

Forgive me if you don't like it. It seems that Canada will have to wait for another Nx10 years to get the cup back.

Some people try to compare this year's final with the 2003 Devil and Ducks final in which the home team won all the games and ended up with Devils winning 4:3 at home. But I don't see any similarity at all. First, Devils had Marty Brodeur even though JS Giguere played out-of-chart games and won him the Conn Smythe. Devils never lost confidence on Brodeur and he delivered on Game 7. But look what we have now for Canucks, Lunogo??? Secondly, the 3 wins for Canucks shook so little on Bruins' confidence and every time Bruins thought it's just a lucky one for Canucks. But look at the way Bruins beat Canucks, what can you say? They were simple got destroyed. Finally, the mentality heading into Game 7 is hugely different in the two teams. Bruins comes in with focus and full confidence on their goalie, while Canucks with a lot of doubts on their own backyard and their PP.

The more I look at it, the more pessimistic I am. But I hope I am wrong and wish to some miracles on Wednesday!

Actually there are some positive feedings for Canucks too. Normally after being badly humiliated by the opponent, the sense of revenge and even some resentment can help the losing team to bounce back. They tend to come out without too many distractions but simple game plan and this will eliminate some unnecessary "strategic" plays. This is kind of natural for any sport team and players. So we have reason to believe Canucks will have this plus side.

Canucks' Kevin Bieska said "we might have given too much respect to Thomas". You know what? It's true. Thomas is NOT unbeatable and he has his weakness. He plays very aggressive style and stays out of the crease more than staying inside. That leaves some space behind him. Canucks' perimeter shooting from outside won't work as well as they did against Sharks because of Thomas's position. They have to somehow find the backdoor and crowd through right in front of Thomas' face. Hey, it's the last game, you should give all you have now. Why don't crush into the net as hard as possible? why don't snow showering Thomas as much as you can? Why don't you annoy Bruins by some dirty chirping? It's all part of the game, as long as you don't take the stupid penalties. The bottom line is that you cannot beat him if you don't create a mess close to his body.

OK, I feel like I should call Alain Vigneault now :)

谁先进球谁夺冠, nucks 这场是underdog

I do believe Luongo wanna this goal back. What a weak one!
