chinese work visa

I am applying for the Chinese Work Visa. The Ottawa Embassy requires a "physical examination form". Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it? I thought it only need to be done once I get to China.... Thanks..

That was what I found out from the Ottawa Embassy. But some consulate service sites don't require it. And I have made an appointment with my physician for the examination. But I would like to hear how other people have done it. I heard the application requirements change quite often.

So, you have not physically visited the Chinese Embassy and talked to a visa officer in peprson yet. Why not simply go there and ask them questions that you may have?

I did go there and talked to the officer and this is what I found out. and I then did some digging on the internet. What I then found out is that the information on different service sites is quite inconsistent. I would like to know if someone had gone through the similar situation. And how he obtains the visa successfully.

I guess I should make my question clearer. I would like to know where did you go to do the "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners". and how long did it take? Thanks...

the easy way is do what the embassy tells you, then you'll be sure to get your visa. don't try to cut corners and hope for the best.
