beijing direct flight to Ottawa?

Heard the mayor had been in Beijing for the direct flight. Anybody know the progress? Just feel the Ottawa airport landing is too short for large flight, but wish it is true.

跑道不是问题。炸药店头顶上的那条跑道可以起降除AirBus380之外任何大型客机。
