About Rogers internet lite

It is said that Rogers will provide a new service called
internet lite. Anybody know anything about that?
What is the difference between it and Rogers@home?

No, it's not dial-up, just kind of "slower" cable connection with speed of 128K. The price is about $24/month. It's low-end service to compete with dial-up. Got this from a friend of mine who's a sales guy working for that evil.

About right. Kinda marketing stuff. ISP's are fighting for dial-up users who like the high-speed service but dont have that finantial capability yet.

They will set up QoS on their existing CMTS which allow 128KbpsDown/54KbpsUp service level.
