我再说个找拍的吧。当年apple没进cell phone市场前,我个人觉得市面上的手机分为欧美派和日韩派。欧美派,motorolla, nokia重技术,日韩派重市场,两边都有拥护者。当时Sony的手机也很花哨,音乐,照相,视频电话,计步器也有。很受teenager追捧。但技术一般般,甚至接口不是usb!
apple的策略其实非常接近日韩派,但营销手段是天才级的。
现在营销天才走了,我看两派又会势均力敌了。
Up to the middle of the conference, SIRI was a free App in the AppStore to all US users. They shutdown the SIRI servers and pulled the app off from the AppStore. Now Apple can market it as a FEATURE for 4GS! And.. it might not even be available in Canada... what a joke!I have to say Siri is really cool! The demo Scott shown was amazing.

I don't like the idea of tracking my voice commands and my location. This reminds me of the "Angel eyes" movie...Voice recognition is only a part of Siri..the big chunk (action part) provided by Siri is supported by the web services around it...Very localized..
No surprise if it is not available in Canada right now..but it gives Apple fans here a big chance to add the services and play with it...
