A better solution is to turn the A/C on when air blows to the windshield.

in winter if you park your car outside, you may easy get frost inside your car on the windshield. my experience is, before you close your door after you park your car on driveway, leave the door open for a while to let the hot/humid air out of your car, then you will have less chance of frost on your windshield next morning.
