Interesting company. I didn't look into power company in great details. Do you have anything to share about this company ?
From previous experience with TRP, I know that hydro plant is of low cost and thus command high valuation. Gas fired plant seems to be the way to go but coal fired ones are cheaper.
Nuclear plants have pretty high restart cost but seems to be cheaper if operates well.
I was hoping you are more interested in fundamentals of the company rather than the curves (as it is not a beauty contest - just kidding).
The curves are right until they are wrong. I am never convinced that they are of any value.
Power company is not easy to understand mainly because of their highly regulated pricing model. Plus, it is normally heavily indebted due to guarantee of regulated price. So, there are quite a lot to read ...
I haven't looked into LOW and NUE before.....Smaller retails with niches are probably more interesting...
One growth company that is of interest is Suncor. There is nothing magic with it but this is a company whose fate is determined by one factor - oil price....If oil price keeps current levels and Suncor can execute, it is a growth company in disguise.
