A closer review of the facts, coupled with the emergence of constitutional issues, led a prosecutor to conclude there was no reasonable prospect of convicting a Carlsbad Springs hobby farmer of running an illegal slaughterhouse and other charges under Ontario’s Food Quality and Safety Act.
