Welcome to Sam Bat, the world’s original maple baseball bat company founded in Ottawa in 1996 by its inventor, Sam Holman. The move to Carleton Place is the latest chapter in the story of a former National Arts Centre stagehand with a superior knowledge of wood who turned the bat industry upside down.
