Some Barrhaven parents reject temporary solution to overcrowding

Frustrated parents in Barrhaven are threatening to switch school boards after trustees with Ottawa’s public board approved a plan Tuesday night that would see some children temporarily bused to a new school outside of the community to help ease overcrowding at nearby elementary schools. The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is using Jockvale Road as a dividing line to separate the Stonebridge community into east and west sides.
