Tavern feels like home for many of Christmas

Before you even pull open the Carleton Tavern’s thick wooden door to take refuge from the falling snow, you can hear the sound of Christmas inside. Carollers are singing into microphones over the sound of chatter and laughter. A man in a red suit with a long white beard greets people at the door with a “Merry Christmas” and a jingle of his bell.
