After close to 150 years, a piece of Renfrew business history is closing its doors. The family-owned foundry, H. Imbleau & Son Ltd., will be complete its last manhole cover in late January. The foundry may have survived two world wars, the Depression and several recessions, but there is no way it can compete with manhole covers mass-produced in China.
