If you are a landed immigrant and full-time student, I will suggest not to claim your tuition fee while you are a student. Just carry it forward to the time you get a job. The refund is based on your tax rate. e.g.
Like say, in two years later, you get an offer with salary above 65k, your income tax rate will be above 31% or more, then you may claim your tuition fee carried forward while you were a student at that time. It means your refund will be based on the tax rate you are at in that year, not the years as you were a student.
But if you claim now, since you are a student, your annual income is actually nothing. Your tax rate is very low or even that you don't need to pay income tax. Then you might get nothing refunded by claiming your tuition fee. You actually lose your money.
